In conjunction with The Cylinder Head Shop, Dynomax is able to offer a Ride In / Ride Out Motorcycle Preparation Service. The specification of the engine tuning is entirely your choice. Dynomax will dyno test your bike before any work commences, then remove the engine, dismantle and take the cylinder head to The Cylinder Head Shop for its attention.

Meanwhile, Dynomax will prepare the rest of the engine to your chosen specification ( i.e. balance crankshaft, con-rods and pistons; measure crankshaft bearings, piston rings, clutch plates, etc. - and replace parts as required).

When the cylinder head is complete and returned to Dynomax, the engine is rebuilt, squish set and camshafts dialed in.

Finally, when installed into the motorcycle, the engine is dyno tested again and the air / fuel ration optimised to give the maximum performance.

So how does a Dynojet dynobench work?




A dynamometer is an instrument for measuring force exerted by motor vehicles. A machine that's used to measure the horsepower output of an engine. A " chassis dyno " has a large roller upon which the drive wheel of the motorcycle is placed. The vehicle is run up to a certain speed and put under load so the amount of power that's being delivered to the rear wheel can be measured accurately.

A dyno can also be used to simulate actual riding or racing conditions when troubleshooting various drivability problems or checking for successful engine development. Dynos are also used to simulate driving conditions during certain types of noise and emissions tests.

Through the use of state-of-the-art computer technology, Dynojet's Model 200 Dynamometer allows you to quickly and accurately diagnose performance problems. By simulating the best "seat-of-the-pants" road testing right in the shop, problems are easily diagnosed in a fraction of the time. The Model 200 Dynamometer includes:
